C16 or M Ultra Gen2?

Both are wired leverless controllers with the same button layout and the same platform support. The difference is how they are built and how they feel on the desk.

The thinner C16 sits lower and is easier to carry to events. The M Ultra Gen2 is heavier and stays put on the desk without a mat. Neither is faster than the other.

Playing on PlayStation

Both need a Booter 5

Neither controller connects to a PS4 or PS5 on its own. Both need the Booter 5 passthrough and authentication adapter in the EXT port.

This is not native or universal PS5 support, and compatibility with every PS5 game is not guaranteed. Check the compatibility guide for the exact setup, or send us your platform and game and we will confirm what you need before you order.

Buying locally

What you get ordering from us

These controllers can be imported privately, and sometimes that works out cheaper. We are not going to pretend otherwise. Here is what ordering from a New Zealand retailer covers instead, so you can weigh it up honestly.

Dispatch from Auckland

Stock is held here. We usually dispatch within 1–2 business days after payment, or 2–3 business days if you ask for a setup check. Auckland click-and-collect is free by appointment.

Consumer Guarantees Act cover

Buying from a New Zealand retailer means the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies to your purchase. Consumer Protection NZ notes that goods bought directly from an overseas seller are generally not covered by the Act.

One price, in NZD

What you see at checkout is what you pay, in New Zealand dollars. Importing privately can add GST at the overseas checkout, the low-value imported goods levy, and courier handling on arrival.

Faults handled locally

If something is wrong, you email a New Zealand address and we work it through with you. Faults reported within seven days get priority assessment. There is no overseas marketplace dispute process in the middle.

Checked against our own test units

We keep one of each controller as a retained test unit and validate setup on it. Controllers are supplied unopened unless you ask for the optional setup check before dispatch.
