The origin story
Why this store exists
If you play fighting games in Oceania, you already know the drill. The controller you want lives on an overseas storefront. Shipping, import costs, firmware state, and support can all feel unclear before you pay. If the unit arrives with a dead switch, the "warranty" may be a chat window in another timezone.
Meanwhile, the actually important questions — does this work on PS5, what firmware does it run, which SOCD mode is tournament-safe — get answered by forum threads of wildly varying accuracy.
Round Start Gear is being built to remove that guesswork. We keep a small, curated Haute42 / COSMOX current range, publish compatibility guidance with caveats where needed, and handle the support path from inside the region you play in.
