Haute42/COSMOX Booter 5

What it is The Booter 5 is a passthrough and authentication adapter for compatible HautePad controllers with an EXT port. Controller setup The Booter 5 does not have a separately listed customer firmware update. Firmware updates apply to the compatible HautePad controller connected to it. Make sure the controller is running firmware approved for its exact model. Open the controller’s web configurator and go to Settings → PS5/PS4 → Host USB. Select Host USB and save the setting. Disconnect the controller and insert the Booter 5 into the controller’s EXT port. Connect the controller’s main USB port to the console. If you update or reset the controller, check the Host USB setting again before use. Official guides: COSMOX Booter 5 instructions and GP2040-CE settings guide.
